    • religeous festivals may dictate when you train - muslims fast which means you cant train ahrd as your fatigued due to lack of food and water.

    • provision of money, equipment, clothing, footwear in return for financial gain
  • why is sponsorship in sport good
    • advertises for the sponsor
    • money payed by sponsors can fund sport for new stadiums, kit, uniform, technology etc
    • players and officials are paid well
  • why is media good in sport
    • makes more people be able to watch the sport which makes it more popular and more people are aware of it

    • more media coverage = more awareness for the sponsor so they get more money
  • what are negatives of sponsorship?
    • money is only available for the top teams
    • bad behaviour reflects badly on the sponsor
    • the sponsor can have bad influence the teams playing style
