  Pps should know what they are getting into - pps should be aware of the aims of an experiment.
• Deception

  You mustn't intentionally mislead pps
• Protection from harm

  Pps should be protected from mental and physical harm
• Privacy

  Pps should be able to keep things private
• How to deal with deception

  Pps should be given a full debrief at the end, should know what their data will be used for and have the right to withdraw that info
• Dealing with confidentiality

  Usually people just are anonymous
