• Formula for area of triangles:

  • 1/2*base*height
  • (ns²)/4*cot(180/n)
  • √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)
  • Area = rs (where r is inradius)
  • 1/2*product of opp. sides * sinA
  • abc/4R (where R is circumradius)

  
• Median: a line joining mid point of a side to the opposite vertex is known as median

  Properties:

  • A median divides triangle into two equal parts
  • A point where three medians intersect is known as centroid
  • Centeroid divides median into 2:1 ratio

  
• Sum of squares of both sides = 2*(median)² + 2(1/2 the third side)²
• 2(PG)² + 2[QR/2]² = (PQ)² + (PR)²
