  • Formula for area of triangles:
    • 1/2*base*height

  • Median: a line joining mid point of a side to the opposite vertex is known as median
    Properties:
    • A median divides triangle into two equal parts
    • A point where three medians intersect is known as centroid
    • Centeroid divides median into 2:1 ratio
  • Sum of squares of both sides = 2*(median)² + 2(1/2 the third side)²
