  • Investigating Infrared Radiation
    • Place a Leslie cube on a heatproof mat and fill with hot water.
    • Use an infrared detector to measure the amount of radiation emitted from each side.
    • Draw a bar chart to compare the results from each surface.

    • Put a thermometer into the water in each beaker.
    • Start the stopwatch, and record the temperature of the water in the two containers every 30 s for 10 minutes.
