• Living things possess specific characteristics like growing with time, respiring to survive, reproducing their species, reacting to the external environment through senses, and moving from one place to another with a particular lifespan
• All living things are made of microscopic structures called cells
• Plants intake water and nutrients to survive, inhale carbon dioxide and exhale oxygen, and do not move from one place to another except to some extent in the direction of sunlight
• Different animals live in different conditions like in the air, water, and land
• Non-living thing


  Anything that does not grow in size on its own, cannot move from one place to another unless an external force is applied, do not need food, air or water to survive, cannot reproduce, and have the superpower of immortality in some cases
