    • Rebellion in Fez (The Capital) led to the Sultan (Leaders of Morocco) asking France for help
    • France sent 20,000 troops in aid
    • Germany saw this as an invasion and so sent a Warship to the area
    • Britain prepared for War
    • Series of meeting prevented this breaking out into War, but tensions remained high

    • Germany backed down
    • France took full control of Morocco
    • Britain and France became closer
    • Britain began building up its Navy
