Pitch

• Singing concepts: this ranges from the pitch of voice e.g highest to lowest and choruses
• Soprano: the highest female voice
• Mezzo soprano: middle pitch between Soprano and Alto
• Alto: the lowest female voice
• Tenor: the highest male voice
• Baritone: middle pitch, between Tenor and bass
• Bass: the lowest male voice
• Voices in unison: two or more voices singing the same note
• Voices in harmony: two or more voices all singing different notes at the same time
• Homophonic: Two or more voices singing the same rhythm
• Polyphonic: Two or more voices singing different rhythms

• Backing vocal: singers who support the lead singer, usually sung in Harmony in the background
