Scene 6 - Lee

Cards (4)

  • "Saul's gonna be my agent, isn't that right Saul?"

Lee sounds childish and quickens his pace, which shows how angry he is getting at Austin. As the brothers' relationship deteriorates, they become more and more childlike - as if they're regressing, this could be because not only are they in their childhood house but they haven't seen each other in years and have had no other interactions/experiences of their relationship outside of childhood, and thus revert to childish behaviours/ways of interacting
  • "Now you tell him. You tell him, Mr. Kipper."

Lee's eagerness and carelessness - he doesn't even get Saul's name right yet is prepared to put him above his brother. Fast pace, wild eyes and animalistic facial expression with wide open mouth showing teeth. Leaning over Saul's shoulder excitedly, animated, words rushing out frantically, he is thrilled by the idea of outdoing Austin
  • He’s totally unsympathetic
  • Fine with me
