Nervous System is important to coordinate behavior and respond to surroundings. The nervous system relys in the Nervous system and Endocrine system.
Neurons carry electrical impulses from one point to another. Tgey are long thin and have many branches meaning ut can send mess to many places. its important to communicate with other parts of the body.
To communicate the neurons have a space between them called the synapse. The Synapse is the gao where chemicals are released across to send signals
electrical impulse hit the end of a nerve which causes the realses of chemicals that diffuse to the other nerve to trigger an elecrical impulse. the impulse will foolow through the neuron the the end to the synapse
Nervous System
receptor - sensory neuron- cns- motor neuron- effector
Receptors detect stimuli, they convert it into neural signal. They are found on skin or inside organs.
Sensory Neurons receive information from receptors and transmit it to CNS (brain/spinal cord)
CNS interprets info and sends out instructions via Motor Neurons
Motor Neurons transmit info from CNS to effectors (muscles/glands)
