  • Summary
    The Ghost of Christmas Past shows Scrooge some of his past Christmases. As a child, Scrooge was lonely but found an escape in books. He had a sister, Fan, who died, leaving her child, Fred. When Scrooge was a young clerk, he was happy working for Mr Fezziwig. Scrooge was engaged but his fiancee broke the engagement because he was only interested in money now. Scrooge is upset by what the ghost shows him.
