  • sin-acting against the will of God. an offence against God either through neglect or conscious intent.
  • crime-an act or omission which goes against the law of the country.
  • Absolute morality-morality which is concerned with the act it is either moral or immoral regardless of the situation.
  • Relative morality-morality which determines if something is morally right or wrong depending on the situation.
  • Deterrent-to put off or discourage someone from doing something that is against the law
  • Retribution-The idea that punishment should make the criminals pay for what they have done wrong and that there is some justice for the victim.
