  SIMILARITIES

  -both use high levels of control = Kohlberg uses age appropriate dilemmas + Lee uses age appropriate wording, illustrations, deeds that are valued or viewed negatively in both cultures, not using leading Qs, tested individually etc = high IV

  both standardised = high IR

  DIFFERENCES

  -Kohlberg = androcentric (uses 75 American boys + no women), Lee = uses both males and females so can generalise to both/high population validity

  -Lee = qualitative data, Kohlberg = quantitative
