  • reliability - The extent to which a score from a selection measure is stable and free from error. "consistency of scores"
  • test-retest reliability - The scores from the first administration of the test are correlated with scores from the second to determine whether they are similar.
  • temporal stability - if the scores are still or nearly the same after a period of time
  • alternate-forms reliability - The scores on the two forms are then correlated to determine whether they are similar. If they are, the test is said to have form stability e.g. set A and set B of a test
  • Internal Reliability - to look at the consistency with which an applicant responds to items measuring a similar dimension or construct (e.g., personality trait, ability, area of knowledge) and measures ITEM STABILITY
  • cronbach's alpha - polytomous
  • k-r 20 - dichotomous
  • scorer reliability - to evaluate the level of agreement between raters on a measure
