Variation

• Genetic Variation: Differences in alleles that are passed from parents to offspring, e.g. Skin color, blood type, hair color
• Environmental Variation= the variation in the environment that affects the species, e.g. Scars, hair length, muscle strength
• Characteristics affected by both:

  • Height (Nutrition)
  • Dominant hand
  • Muscle strength
  • Skin tone
