Cloning

• Cloning Adult Cells:

  1. Diploid cell removed and extract nucleus cell
  2. Get infertile egg cell and remove nucleus
  3. Insert nucleus into egg cell
  4. Electric shock egg cell to turn into zygote
  5. Place into host mother then she will reproduce

  
• Embryo transplantation:

  1. Sperm taken from bull
  2. Insemenate an egg with sperm
  3. Allow zygote to develop into embryo then remove in woman
  4. Allow the Embryo to split into 7 copies
  5. 7 copies placed into host mothers

  
• Tissue Culture:

  1. Tissue from plant scraped into agar gel in petri dish
  2. Cultivate samples
  3. Plant into compost

  
• Cuttings:

  1. Cut a piece of a parent plant
  2. Bury underground and cultivate with appropriate nutrients

  • Gain desired plants
  • Save endangered species
  • Greater yield
  • Supply demand in countries, preventing lots of importing
