  • Consumers are the potential buyers of the product. Within the design team consumers can provide feedback and opinions to about their needs, wants and preferences.
  • The retailer sells the product to the consumer, in shops or online, and so can offer advice about price and product range. They are often the first members of the team to know whether a new product is selling or not
