  • Soprano - the highest vocal range, usually a classical female singing voice. Middle C to high A.
  • Alto - Second highest voice, sung in choruses by either low women's voice or high men's voices. F3 to middle C.
  • Tenor - classical male voice, the vocal range lies between counter tenor & baritone. One of the highest male voice types. C3 - C5.
  • Baritone - a classical type of male singing where the vocal range lies between tenor & bass, heavy sounding. G2 - G4.
  • Bass - the lowest adult male singing voice in classical. Has a dark resonant quality. E2 - E4.
