  • What does the Follicle Stimulating Hormone cause?
    Causes egg to mature in the follicles of the ovary, it stimulates the ovary to produce oestrogen (so lining ready for the egg)
  • What does the Luteinising Hormone stimulate?
    The releases of an egg at ovulation
  • What does the oestrogen (ovary) cause?
    The lining of the uterus to build up, Inhibits the releases of FSH and stimulates the release of LH (need egg releasing on day 14 once lining is thick)
  • What is the Progesterone? (Empty Follicle)
    It maintains the uterus lining and inhibits the releases of both FSH and LH
