    • gov rejected and demanded negotiation

    • proved to hitler and the world that treaties could be ignored/renegotiated if u have power
    • some territories still given away

    • turkish sovereignty recognised over straits
    • straits still managed internationally
    • agreed to minor economic impact
    • reparations cancelled
