  • Since 2010: Party has supported welfare reform - lead to reduction of benefits.
• Law and Order

  • David Cameron favoured rehabilitation instead of punishment for drug addicts
  • Theresa May warned police about the overuse of stop + search against minority ethnic groups

  New Right:

  • 2020 Priti Patel: proposed a points-based immigration system (certain salary, qualifications)
• Foreign Affairs:

  • Most Tories wanted to remain in the EU

  New Right:

  • Tories supported US-Led wars (Iraq etc.)
