• diabetes is a condition where the blood glucose concentration remains too high
• there are two types of diabetes

• type 2: the pancreas produces enough insulin,but the cells of the body have become resistant to insulin and no longer responds by storing glucose as glycogen.obesity is a risk factor of type 2 diabetes
• type 1 diabetes is treated through regular insulin injections
• type 2 diabetes is treated through a low carbohydrate diet and regular exercise
