• Educational capital – formal qualifications such as GCSEs, A-Levels, degree etc. and the accompanying knowledge and skills.
• Cultural capital – the knowledge, attitudes, values and language, tastes and abilities of the middle class. Bourdieu argues he education system favours MC culture.
