  These four are called sinoptic gospels or ebanghelyo.
• John in the beginning was the word.

• Transubstantiation- consecration (transform) of the bread and wine.
• Consubstantiation- symbol as the body and blood of Christ.
• The cross- symbol not only of Christ's saying power but also our true selves.
