  How long it take to form another cell (divide). the time is started from when the cell is formed until it divides.

  • growth
  • DNA Replication + Mitosis
  • Division (Cytokinesis)
• Cell cycles, Chromosomes & Mitosisthe:

  1. cell grows in size and at the same time increases the number of sub-solar structures it contains such as mitochondria and ribosomes
  2. the DNA is then Duplicated so that the two new cells will each have a full set of DNA
  3. at this stage the cell membrane and cytoplasm pull apart forming 2 daughter cells
