  • LINE DANCE
    A form of choreographed dance where performers are arranged in a linear position
  • LINE DANCE
    • Performers are arranged in a linear position
    • Dancers are not in physical contact with one another
    • May be performed in two or more lines where dancers face one another
    • Dancers form a circle and may hold one another's hands to keep the circle intact
  • BALL CHANGE
    Stand with feet together, step onto the ball with right foot, step and change weight onto left foot, and vice versa
  • KICK-BALL CHANGE
    Stand with feet together, kick right foot forward, step onto the ball with right foot, and step or change weight onto left foot. Repeat with other foot.
  • POINT-BALL CHANGE
    Same as kick-ball change, but instead of kicking, just point the toe
  • BASIC CHARLESTON
    Stand with feet together, step left foot forward and right foot in front of left, step backward and return to original position, repeat with left foot
  • SHUFFLE
    Step right foot forward, slide left foot closer to right, slide right foot, then left. Repeat.
