    Bonifacio’s “Decalogue” outlines the duties of the members of the Katipunan. However, it was unpublished during Bonifacio’s lifetime because he decided to withdraw it when he saw that Emilio Jacinto’s “Kartilya” was better.” Thus, Bonifacio, the “Father of the Revolution,” made Jacinto’s “Kartilya” the primer of the Katipunan.
