    panic - crying, screaming, running away or freezing(fight or flight)
    avoidance - effort to keep away from the phobic stimulus, making it hard to go about daily life
    endurance - in unavoidable situations, experience continuous and extreme anxiety

    anxiety - an unpleasant state of high arousal which prevents relaxation and cannot experience a positive emotion which can be long term
    emotional responses are unreasonable - fear is immediate and extremely unpleasant when we come in contact with the phobic stimulus

    selective attention - may struggle to focus on anything else
    irrational belief - irrational thought process which can cause pressure, knows the fear is excessive
    cognitive distortions - they may have a distorted perception of the appearance
