Cards (24)

  • What is health?
A state of mental and physical wellbeing
  • How can someone have a good health?
Well balances diet, enough exercise and sleep, access to medical care (vaccines)

    Unhealthy diet causes diabietes
  • What are the two types of disease?
    Communicable and non communicable disease

Be hygenic, kill vectors(organisms that transport pathogens), vaccinations, quarentine
  • How does being hydenic prevent disease?
Keeps everything clean of microorganisms. EG, wash hands, clean cooking items
  • How does killing the vectors prevent disease?
Stops pathogens being transported. EG. mosquitos- spread insecticides(chemicals that kill insects)

If the disease cant be caught then it wont be spread
  • How does quarentine prevent disease?

No contact so pathogens not being spread
