    • SUM - computes the sum of the arguments

    • MAX - returns the largest value in the arguments
    • MIN - returns the smallest value in the arguments
    • ROUND - rounds a number to a specified number of digits
  • Cell Reference
    Helps lock-in specific cells to retain their cell address
  • Types of Cell References
    • Relative Reference - default reference; formula points to neighboring cells
    • Absolute Reference - uses the dollar ($) symbol placed before the column and row address
    • Mixed Reference - a combination of relative and absolute reference
  • Autofill
    A way of copying formulas into cells by dragging the formula down the column or across the row
  • Freeze Panes
    Will make a portion of the worksheet to keep it visible while we scroll through it

  • Sort Data
    Allows us to find values quickly and we can sort them in ascending or descending order
  • Filter Data

    Helps narrow down data, allowing us to view only the data that we need

    Used to apply styles to data that meet a certain condition or criteria
  • Types of Charts
    • Pie Chart - used to show percentages and parts of a whole
    • Column Chart - has vertical bars
    • Line Chart - used to show trends or changes in the value of data
    • Bar Chart - shows the comparison between data and has horizontal bars
