  • Hypertext
    • A system that consists of intertextualities
    • It emphasizes intertextuality better than the limited resource and explanation from a leather bound book

    The pieces of evidence that support your thesis
  • Claim
    • The main argument of the written text
    • It is the statement that persuades the readers to accept your idea
  • Counterclaim
    • It provides an opposing view of the main claim of the text
    • Providing this will make the reader realize that your thesis is the best choice
  • the writer must explain all his claims and counterclaims from beginning to end
  • Optional - it will lead you to find connection or neglect the connection between different texts
  • Accidental - a reader sees connection but the author doesn't have an intention to do so
