CFC 648-649 - An integral part of Christ's paschal Mytery is His Ascension. The meaning of being raised or "lifted" is Christ's exaltation, sovereign authority, and power over creation and all history.
When it was time for Jesus to go back to the Father, he instructed His disciples to go to Mt. Olives.

God's Hand - refers to the Messiah to whom is given power and authority to subdue His enemies.
