• Humza Yousaf resigned from his role as first minister of Scotland on the 29th of April 2024
• Yousef resigned after an inability to agree with his green coalition members causing him to have to remove them from his cabinet
• the resignation of Yousef has left the position of first minister up for grabs and caused the SNP to be in a minority government with labour
