3 types of LTM

  Episodic - LTM store of our personal event from your life

  Semantic - Meanings its our store of words we know from the dictionary our own encylopedia remembering informations through meaning

  Procedural - subjected to the unconcious mind it cannot me explained and is concerned with how to do things
• LTM strength

  is that brain scans support the idea of LTM in three types for example procedural is associated with our motor area episodic with right prefrontal and semantic with our left prefrontal
• LTM weakness

  Is that there isnt a clear difference we assume for example in amnesiac patients retain their ability semantically like language therefore the idea of three types of LTM is an oversimplification
