Pathogen
is a microorganism that causes disease.
There are
4
problems
that can happen
with the heart
:
Coronary
Heart Disease,
Faulty
Valves, Heart
Failure
and Extreme
Blood
Loss.
Faulty
Valves:
When the
valve is
stiff
and
leaks
blood
into the heart. Causing
backflow
and puts
strain
on
heart.
There are
two ways
you can
replace
a
faulty valve:
Using a
Biological
Valve (from pig/cattle) or a
Mechanical
Valve (man made).
Biological Valve
:
Works
well
but
only last a
few
years
and may transfer
disease
from organism.
Mechanical Valve:
lasts for
long
but
need
medication
to stop
blood clots.
Heart Failure
:
Requires a
heart transplant
and
donor.
Which is not always
availiable.
Extreme
Blood Loss:
Would need
artificial
blood.
Patient has
time
to
produce blood
but
is
for a
short time.
