  • CALABARZON -  The  Industrial  Powerhouse  of  the Philippines  and  serves  as  a  significant source  of  semi-processed  industrial  raw materials and industrial components. Rich in cultural heritage and is also home for  indigenous  crafts  which  greatly contributed  in  the  enhancement  of  the native's  standard  of  living  and  of  the country's economic development as well.
  • CAVITE - Historical capital of the Philippines.
  • LAGUNA - Known as the birthplace of Jose Rizal, the national hero of the Philippines.
  • Whittling - is the art of carving shapes typically out of raw wood or bone with a knife. It is typically performed with a light,  small-bladed knife, usually a pocket knife.
  • Carving - employs the use of chisels, gouges, and a mallet.
  • Kayas - the art of wood shaving and whittling, is meticulously done using three types of wood that are known for its soft pliable texture and can only be found in Laguna.
  • Wood carving - is a form of woodworking by means of a cutting tool (knife) in one hand or achisel by two hands or with one hand on a chisel and one hand on a mallet, resulting in a wooden figure or figurine, or in the sculptural ornamentation of a wooden object.
  • Embroidery - is the craft of decorating fabric or other materials using a needle to apply thread or yarn.
  • Water hyacinth - is a type of weed abundant in this municipality, put into good use by the creative people of Pila.
  • Footwear MakingLiliwMaking slippers - one of the town's most famous traditions - and the slipper-making business of Liliw contributes greatly to its economy.
  • Pina Barong and Gowns -Taal Batangas is famous for producing embroidered Pinas Fabric, made from the fibers of pineapple and woven into a costly fabric. These are used for Pina Barong, wedding gowns and other formal attires. 
  • The Burda, called calado, is painstakingly made by three groups of peope- the designer, embroider and the cutter.
  • Balisong (Taal) - also known as "Butterfly knife", Its name derived from "bali" the Filipino term for broken, and "sungay" which means horn. It is a type of knife that can be folded closed like a fan and comes in different sizes.
  • Angono in Rizal Province - is considered as the "Art Capital of the Philippines."
  • Higantes - big paper mache figures of human that represents farmers and fishermen. Higantes are composed of a father, mother and a child measuring 7 to 10 feet. These are traditionally paraded on the 22nd and 23rd of November in Angono during Higantes Festival. 
  • QUEZON - The town of Lucban is famous for the Pahiyas Festival celebrated on the 15th May to honor San Isidro Labrador, the Patron Saint of farmers.
