    • Popular in San Pablo, Laguna
    • usually performed on festive occasions like wedding celebrations
    • Costume: girls - Maria Clara Style
    • Boys - Barong Tagalog and Black trousers
    • Music: Divided into five parts

  • La Jota (Ilocano version)
    • popular in Paoay, Ilocos Norte
    • people dance especially on special occasions like the Guling-guling(Eve of Ash wednesday), Tambora(Eve of Christmas), and the feast of Sta. Maria and Sta. Rosa; also danced during weddings, baptismal parties, and other special gatherings
    • Costume: dressed in typical peasant costumes
  • cardiovascular endurance - improves the ability of the heart, the blood vessels, and the respiratory system to deliver oxygen, which is needed to carry out daily activities efficiently
  • dancing improves flexibility; increased in elasticity of muscles, tendons, and ligaments
  • agility - ability of the body to change positionn rapidly
  • coordination - ability of the body to produce smooth combination of the hand and eye or foot and eye movement
