Lenin immediately set out a political programmed called his "
April Theses
".
Lenin called for
An immediate end to the
war.
No
co-operation
with the PG.
The transfer of all state power to the Soveits.
Land to be given to the
peasants.
The
socialisation
of the economy.
The points of the April Theses were effectively communication in Bolshevik propaganda through simple slogans such as:
"
All Power to the Soviets
"
"
End the War
"
"
Peace, Land, Bread
"
The April Theses and its slogans was an offer to
ordinary Russian
people that would lead to an improvement to their lives.
Lenin's
vision was of a second revolution led by a hardcore group of professional revolutionaries on behalf of the people.
This was the vision he had in his
1902
pamphlet, "
What is to be done
?"
