December 1917 - Decrees

• Banks were nationalised.
• The Army was democratised.

  • Officers would be elected.
  • Ranks, saluting and decorations would be abolished.
• Church land was nationalised.

  • Marriage and divorce were now civil matters outside of the control of the Chruch.
• The Supreme Economic Council (Veshenka) was formed to co-ordinate economic activity.
