What is death? 
The end of physical life. When the body ceases to function
What is the soul?
The spiritual part of a human being which makes them who they really are and allows them to have a relationship with God. It lives on after the death of the body
What is euthanasia? 
Giving someone medication to put someone to death if they are in lots of pain

What is palliative care?
Helping people to have the best end of life they can e.g. giving them pain relief medication
What does an atheist believe about life after death?
There is no life after death

What is judgement?
People have the choice to choose or reject God. People will be judged on their choices and will go to Heaven or Hell
What is Heaven?
Eternal existence in God's presence in the next life. This results from accepting God's grace and forgiveness in this life
What is Hell?
A total lack of God for all eternity. Those who freely choose to reject God's grace and forgiveness in this life live forever without Him
What is purgatory?
A process of being made pure from sins, in order to go to Heaven

What is resurrection?
The raising of the body to life again after death. Christians believe that Jesus has already experienced resurrection and that all people will experience it at the end of time.

All people will be resurrected and out heavenly bodies will be connected but different to our earthly bodies
How is the Paschal candle used at Easter?
It is lit in a dark church to show that Jesus gets rid of the darkness of sin

What is the magisterium?
The Pope and a group of bishops who interpret the scriptures and traditions in order to form Church teachings. The magisterium is guided by the Holy Spirit to do this accurately
What is apostolic succession?
The authority of Jesus being passed down from Pope to Pope
What was Vatican II 
An extraordinary and conciliar magisterium that was held to modernise the Church

Sacrosanctum Concilium: they started to say Mass in the language of the country instead of in Latin
Gaudium et Spes: they encouraged Catholics to spread joy and hope by starting charities like CAFOD

Prayers made up for the situation e.g. bidding prayers

It helps them to express things they might struggle to put into words
