  • High tidal volume alarm: 10 - 20% higher than expected
  • High minute volume alarm: 10 - 20% higher than expected
  • High-pressure alarm:
    • 10 cmH2O PIP
    • set 40 cmH2O if PIP unknown
  • low tidal volume alarm: 10 - 20% lower than expected
  • low minute volume alarm: 10 - 20% lower than expected
  • low inspiratory Pressure alarm: 10 cm below PIP or 5 cmH2O above PEEP (whichever one is higher)
  • Low PEEP alarm: 2cmH2O
  • high frequency alarm: 30 - 35 bpm
  • high and low FiO2 alarm: +/- 5 of expected FiO2
  • high and low ETCO2: +/- 3 - 5 expected volume
  • Apnea time interval:
    • 10- 20 seconds
    • 15 - 20 seconds (typical setting)
