  • Work Immersion
    Part of the Senior High School (SHS) Curriculum consisting of 80 hours of hands-on experience or work simulation which the Grades 11 and 12 students will undergo to expose them to the actual workplace setting and to enrich the competencies provided by the school under the supervision of the School Head and the designated personnel of the Partner

  • Guidelines
    • Students must observe proper approach and good behavior inside and outside of the school especially when deployed to the company already
    • All immersion concerns should be addressed to the Work Immersion Teacher, or Guidance Office
    • If the student, decided to apply alone or seek for his/her own company, he or she should apply wearing a corporate attire
    • Males are required to have a clean haircut while the females are wearing light make up and pony tail or clip
  • Requirements for Initial Interview
    • 1 Copy of resume w/ 2x2 ID picture (white background)
    • Signed Parent's Consent
    • Photocopy of Updated School ID
  • Initial Interview
    1. Student trainee must undergo a preliminary screening /Initial Interview with the Work Immersion teacher or Authorized Person from the school prior to deployment
    2. He/ She should pass the interview before deployment otherwise, the student cannot proceed to an internship
    3. If the student fails the interview, he/she should repeat the interview until the student passed
  • After Passing Initial Interview
    Student can have the Endorsement Letter and Acceptance Letter
  • Deployment Limits
    • The deployment of the student trainee shall not exceed two times
    • If the trainee finds no interest in the assistance offered by the work immersion teacher or guidance the coordinator has the right to decline the succeeding request for assistance
    • Leaving the responsibility to the student trainee to find his/her own OJT host company thereby waiving Notre Dame of Trece Martirez' liability over the student trainee
  • Attendance Requirements
    • Student trainees absence(s)/tardiness is DISCOURAGED unless it is valid and with due notice given to his/her superior and the Work Immersion Teacher, Guidance or Coordinator
    • Student trainee should protect the image of Notre Dame of Trece Martirez at all cost
    • In cases of prolonged absence(s), the trainee must inform his/her supervisor and immersion teacher, guidance or coordinator of the reason(s) behind such cause and when he/she will be back to report for work immersion
    • Student should also secure the DETAILED EXPLANATION LETTER before reporting again to his/her company
    • One (1) day absent is equal to two (2) additional reporting day
  • Notre Dame of Trece Martirez through the Immersion Teacher/Guidance shall voluntarily withdraw the student/s from area of assignment that is found misbehaving or committing act of defiance to the company or training partner
  • The student trainee shall agree and comply with all the rules and regulations governing interns of Notre Dame
  • Requirements for Narrative Report
    • The student is expected to submit the Narrative Report (Soft Bonded) at the end of his/her work immersion which is a general requirements for the issuance his/her final grades
    • It should be submitted immediately after the completion of 80hours and within the semester the work immersion is enrolled
  • Final grade of the student trainee
    Based from his/her work APPRAISAL FORM and NARRATIVE REPORT

  • All information indicated in applicant's resume should be true & correct. All the details, especially Personal Information & Educational Background should all be complete and correct. Remember that the resume is the advertisement of an applicant for the company to take a risk on. If the information's are not legit and correct, it will affect the applicant's application.
  • Endorsement Letter
    This document should be given to the company before the student begins with his/her work immersion. Original copy of the endorsement letter should be given & the photocopy signed & received by the authorized person should be compiled for Narrative Report.
  • Acceptance Letter
    Acceptance Letter is the proof that the company accepted your application. No need to photocopy. This should be compiled in your Narrative Report (original copy).
  • Memorandum of Agreement
    This agreement is the agreement between the school & the company. This MOA serves as the partnership between the school and the company.
  • Parental Consent
    This consent serves as the letter of confirmation from the guardian that they are allowing the students to conduct an immersion as part of the SHS program, and was aware once signed, that the school Notre Dame of Trece Martirez will never be liable to any untoward incidents caused by the student's negligence.
  • Trainee's Checklist
    This checklist is at a glance paper to see if the student is complying or not to his/her work immersion. It is itemized criteria and will only be signed once the student already complied. This paper should not be lost, otherwise grades will be deducted on the said item. Part of the grading sheet of the student is responsibility therefore, it is the student's responsibility to take care of his/her document.
  • Work Immersion Performance Appraisal
    This form will be submitted to the company before the immersion ended. It is the grading sheet of the company to the student's performance while he/she is conducting an immersion.
  • Work Immersion Grading Sheet
    This grading sheet consists of all the criteria from orientation up to the last part of the work immersion. All of the documents submitted to the work immersion teacher will be recorded in this grading sheet.
  • Time Card
    This time card is the monitoring of the company on the student's attendance.
