PYELONEPHRITIS

is very common and very contagious. You spread it through your saliva and other body fluids, and it can cause mononucleosis (aka mono), as well as other illnesses.
HISTOPLASMOSIS
caused by the reproductive cells (spores) of the fungus Histoplasma capsulatum. They float into the air when dirt or other material is disturbed. The fungus thrives in damp soil that's rich in organic material, especially the droppings from birds and bats.
MALARIA
a mosquito-borne disease caused by a parasite. often experience fever, chills, and flu-like illness. Left untreated, they may develop severe complications and die.
EHRLICHIOSIS
These bacteria are spread to people primarily through the bite of infected ticks including the lone star tick (Amblyomma americanum) and the blacklegged tick (Ixodes scapularis).
