      Famous fashion designer and perfume maker. She had the chance to leave but stayed, becoming friends with Nazi occupiers and even had a romantic relationship with one. She tried to remove Jewish directors from her perfume company and gave herself sole ownership as she was Aryan. It's questioned whether she was a synthesizer or spy.
    • During the occupation of Monaco, the police turned over 42 foreign Jewish refugees but protected Monaco's Jews
    • Andre Trocme
      Protestant pastor living in south-east France. He arranged for Jews, mainly children, to escape and in some cases to Switzerland. They forged ration cards and ID cards. He was arrested then released due to lack of evidence. He continued and later had to go into hiding. Trocme and others saved 5,000 Jews.
    • In return for redirecting production towards Germany, the Danes were able to reject German demands for legislation against their Jewish population.
