  • facial pain
    trigeminal neuralgia (tic douloureux), piercing facial pains that lasts from seconds to minutes
  • difficulty in moving head or neck
    tension in muscles, vertebral joint dysfunction
  • lumps and lesions that do not heal or disappear may indicate cancer
  • sudden trouble seeing, visual disturbances in one or both eyes, or sudden trouble walking, dizziness, or loss of balance or coordination may be a sign of an impending stroke
  • Sudden weakness or numbness in the face, arms, or legs—especially on one side of the body—may indicate an impending stroke
