• Canal of Schlemm


  Collects aqueous humor from the anterior chamber.
• Pupil


  The hole in the center of the iris, through which light enters the eyeball.
• Eyelids


  Protects eyes from excessive light and foreign bodies, spread lubrications over eyeballs.
• Eyebrows and Eyelashes


  Help protect the eyeballs from foreign objects, prespiration, and direct rays of the sun.
• Lacrimal Appratus


  Group of glands, ducts, and canals and sacs, produce and drain lacrimal fluid (tears).
• Extrinsic Muscles of the Eye


  Cooperate to move each eyeball right, left, up, down, and diagonally.
• Pinna


  aka "auricle", a skin-covered elastic cartilage that collects soundwaves.
• Eardrum


  aka "tympanic membrane", vibrates when soundwaves pass through it.
• Auditory Tube


  Curved tube that directs sound waves toward the eardrum.
• Cochlea


  Resembles a snail's shell, divided into three channels.
• Vestibule


  Oval-shaped middle part of the bony labyrinth.
• Semicircular Canals


  Located behind the vestibule, enlarges into a "swelling".
