  • Military Leadership – the art of influencing and directing
    men in such a way to obtain their trust, obedience,
    confidence, respect, and loyal cooperation in the
    attainment of the units, primary mission.
  • Leadership Traits – the personal qualities of the individual which greatly help in the exercise of military leadership.
  • Leadership Principles – the fundamental guidelines for the selection of appropriate action and orders by a leader.
  • Effective Unit – one which accomplishes with minimum expenditures of means and time and any mission that is assigned, for which it has been organized, equipped, and trained.
