Planned and initiated the construction of some of Cebu's landmarks such as: The Cebu Provincial Capitol, patterned after the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington DC.; The Rizal Memorial Library in Cebu City, The Mandaue Presidencia (now the Mandaue City Hall); The TB Pavilion of the Southern Islands Hospital (now the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center), The Cebu Junior College of the University of the Philippines - Cebu Campus
    2. Launched and led a fund-raising campaign, during which be visited the Cebu municipalities to encourage donations from Cebuanos from all walks of life, to buy a light bomber plane called the "Spirit of Cebu" which was donated to the Philippine Army
