Scotland up to 1530

• Very significant Battle of Flodden in 1513, much greater success than battle of the spurs, led by Catherine.
• Francis I weakened Anglo-Scottish relations through the heir presumptive duke of Albany who was a member of the French nobility.
• Henry failed to take advantage of win at Flodden due to lack of money following the two French invasions.
• 1518 Treaty of London = between England and France but agreed to keep Albany out of Scotland.
