• 1536 = henry wanted to renew treaty with the emperor due to decreased pressure from the death of Catherine and Anne Boleyn.
• 1536 = renewed French and empirical fighting, no English involvement.
• 1538 = treaty of nice between Francis and Charles
• Charles reignited conflict with France, support of England, invasions in 1544. Charles V wanted peace, made separate peace with Francis I.
