DOES: an allloving God wouldn't harm his children, a just God wouldn't give innocent people bad things, an omnipotent God would prepare people for evil and make it not happen, an omniscient God would know when evil is coming and stop it.

The view that all humans will be safe, and their relationship with God will be reconciled (all souls will go to heaven/hell is permanent)
Why would Christians not believe and believe in universalism?
NOT: People should be held accountable, have been granted dominion and stewardship that they should use, deterrent from living an immoral life, heaven is promised to those who believe, should have a punishment for unbelievers, Scripture points to heaven and hell
SHOULD: Not possible for an all loving God to segregate his people, so some are punished and others, not as we are gods children
What are the strengths and weaknesses of believing in heaven and hell as literally places?
Strengths:
deterrent from immoral/sinful activities, makes you use your granted dominion, makes you behave morally in order to get closer to God, no confusion around interpretation.
Weaknesses: Contrast, with the belief of Omni, benevolent, no empirical evidence (for where having and how are), contradict science, is disproportionate

By accepting his love and forgiveness, E.G by getting baptised or believe inJesus died on the cross to redeem sins.
What are the problems with Original Sin?
Take guilt for what happened 2000+ years ago, so it's unfair to blame contemporary humans, all have free will that we use differently, brings dissatisfaction/evil, how did evil enter the world in the first place, is unfair
What do orthodox Christians say about Original Sin?
Don't believe it, as you can't be guilty for a sin you didn't commit. Humans inherit sin through history/culture/society creating a sinful environment, so we need gods help for avoidsin.
